We are inviting 5 select life science teachers to apply for participation in the Pandem-Sim research and evaluation component of the project. Please review the following inclusion criteria and contact Dr. Debbie Tyrrell regarding your questions.
PARTICIPATION CRITERIA:
Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching US high school life science
Currently teaching grades 10-12 (biology, advanced biology, anatomy and physiology, environmental science, health, and/or medical/vocational courses)
Pandem-Sim research and evaluation efforts aim to reach 25% minority and underrepresented teacher populations
COMMITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Pre- and post-surveys
Facilitated completion of online student pre- and post-surveys and assessments, mission preparation curriculum, assignment of specialty roles within student teams, coordination of research permissions, technology coordination
